Open-source HTML5, CSS and JavaScript media player libraries.
All of these basic web design templates are released as 'open source' designs, meaning you can download them for FREE and use them for whatever you want (including modifying and adding to them). These examples are intended for absolute beginners, but they can also help someone who already has some experience in building websites. For developing simple websites, knowledge of HTML and CSS is enough. Most of the examples done on this website are done using HTML, CSS with a small addition of JAVASCRIPT that could not be avoided. Some of the examples can only be tested on a server. For testing purposes, you can install a home server (I use XAMPP). Some of these examples are quite old, but they are good for practice.
Once you have spent some time on these examples, you will be able to create your own website. Before you start, it would be best to draw out how you want your website to look on a piece of paper. There are many instructions and tutorials online so you don’t have to buy any manuals. You can install some website development software to practice, such as DREAMWEAVER, EXPRESSION WEB, etc. Once you have learned the basics, you can start using some text editor, such as NOTEPAD++. It is also essential to have some image editing software. You can use Photoshop, which is a professional tool, but there are many free alternatives that can do the job.
